At Metung Hot Springs we are passionate about our water. Long associated with encouraging physical and emotional wellbeing, water is a life force. From the mineral rich geothermal water which fills our pools, to the clean, filtered drinking waters available throughout the hot springs property, our water detoxifies the body and rejuvenates the spirit. Across the world, and throughout decades, water therapies and facilities have contributed to creating wellness experiences that provide lasting physical and mental health benefits.

Our geothermal waters are heated by the earth’s core and rise from 500 metres below ground to flow into our pools. The water is estimated to have been deep within the earth for more than 10,000 years. Throughout operating hours, our water is constantly refreshed – never recirculated, and is regularly monitored by our dedicated pools team. Bathing in this mineral rich water stimulates and promotes health and wellness through improving sleep, reducing arthritic symptoms, encouraging social connectivity, detoxifying the body, promoting healthy skin, improving muscle and bone health and reducing high blood pressure.

Stay Hydrated with Beautiful Water Metung Hot Springs also shares a partnership with Beautiful Water Systems and Dr. Marc Cohen, a passionate wellness practitioner. Beautiful Water® filters are installed across the site, allowing guests and staff to have access to high quality filtered drinking water.

Beautiful Water® use eco-polymer filters that combine mechanical filtration, ion exchange, adsorption, and activated carbon block filtration to remove toxic contaminants while retaining vital minerals such as calcium and magnesium. It eliminates more than 99.99% of common contaminants from the water, including chlorine, viruses, bacteria and particles. The Beautiful Water logo also balances the structure of Metatron’s cube and the designs are inspired by sacred geometry, flowforms, cymatics, water crystals, Ho’oponopono and alchemy.

Science and technology are combined with esoteric knowledge and timeless wisdom to turn our taps and pipes into sacred water vessels that produce ‘Beautiful Water®’ that is filtered, structured, balanced, blessed and free. Beautiful Water is accessible to our guests throughout the property because we believe that through upgrading the quality of our water, we are supporting every aspect of life – including you.

Life Without Plastic

Single use plastic water bottles are one of the biggest contributors to plastic pollution and require up to 700 years to break down. These single-use items often end up in our environment, harming wildlife, waterways and oceans. Sustainability is wellness for the planet and the only way we can guarantee a great future for our planet is if we will put sustainability at the heart of our actions.

Why? Because the body, mind and soul can only truly be balanced in a sustainable, healthy world.

Single use plastic bottles of water are not available to buy at Metung Hot Springs. We ask that you please bring your own reusable bottle with you or purchase one of our environmentally friendly options as we have filtered water onsite for refills.
