Metung Fun Run 2022
Sunday November 13th 2022 will mark the 11th time that the Metung Fun Run has heard the start gun. The Metung Fun Run is an annual fun[run]draiser for the Metung Primary School and the Metung Lions Club Community Bus.
This year, Metung Hot Springs are proud major sponsors of the event, but the connection between Metung Hot Springs and the annual run goes far deeper than playing a major sponsorship role; Rachel Bromage, Co-Owner and Director of Operations at Metung Hot Springs was also one of the founders and brains behind the very first event thirteen years ago.
Rachel and Adrian’s children went to Metung Primary School, and Rachel was also chair of the parent teacher’s association. As an enthusiastic parent, as well as being a prominent community member, Rachel was passionate about thinking outside of the square of the usual fundraising events and start an annual community fun run. With help from her husband Adrian as well as Tom Moore, who at the time was a very keen local runner, Warren Van Est, Lucy Carson, Chris Seymour and Toni Fraser the dream started taking shape, and the first annual Metung Fun Run was held in 2009.
To date the event has raised more than $80,000 and that’s thanks to the considerable combined efforts of the Metung Lions Club, Metung Primary School, the local CFA, Bloodhounds, and several local residents all who kindly donate their time.
As well as raising valuable funds for the Metung Primary School and Metung Lions Club Community Bus the day will be one of wellness, family, community, and great vibes, as so register here.

On The Day registrations are available from the Metung Market on Saturday 12th November and from 7.30am at the Village Green on Sunday 13th November 2022.
